I have a bit of sad news...our camera died! We aren't sure how it happened, but we know that it was working the day we went to Cedar Point and then I pulled it out on Saturday and the screen had this crack in it that only showed up when I turned it on. What a loss! Oh well, I guess we will be picture less for a while.
Anyways, I would have posted our Saturday fun at Island Lake Park. It was so green and pretty and the lake looked very inviting because it was such a nice warm day. Matt went on a bike ride while I re-read Eclipse...I am reading the Twilight books for the second time so that I remember what happened before the next movie comes out. Then we went for a hike/nature walk. We discussed whether or not we could qualify what we did as a hike since there are no mountains in Michigan. I still think it is more of a nature walk, but the state parks here call it hiking. What more can I say? It was a beautiful day and capped off a nice sunny week. Oh, I love the sunshine!
On a side note, the leaves have already started to change. It is very pretty, but where in the world did the summer go? We really didn't get much of a summer...meaning it wasn't really that warm, with only a handful of really hot and humid days. I should be thankful and I am, but it makes me wonder what the winter will hold. So, for now, I will focus on fall and enjoy the beautiful leaves. My parents are coming for their first visit in October and I can't wait to share all of the fun of fall, which I am sure they have long since forgotten having lived in the land of constant summer for so long!

You need a camera pronto!! I love all of your pics!!! You two find so many fun things to do. I wish I didn't live in the hot hot hot desert where the only fun thing to do is to stop and stare at the not so green/more like brown surroundings :) Hello, saguaro, need I say more ;)
